Objective & Compliance

In accordance with the directives of the Government of Jharkhand and the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations, Akshat College of Health Education has established a dedicated Grievance Redressal Committee. The primary objective of the GRC is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere on campus.

The committee is empowered to address grievances related to academic matters, financial issues, administrative services, and any form of perceived unfairness in the institutional processes.

Academic Grievances

  • Issues regarding internal assessments and marks.
  • Complaints related to library services or lab facilities.
  • Syllabus completion and clinical posting concerns.

Administrative Grievances

  • Matters related to fee payments and refunds.
  • Issuance of certificates, IDs, and transcripts.
  • Hostel and canteen-related complaints.

Redressal Mechanism & Procedure

Following the Jharkhand Government's guidelines for institutional transparency, Akshat College follows a multi-tier resolution process:

  1. Formal Lodging: An aggrieved student or staff member may submit a written application to the GRC office.
  2. Initial Scrutiny: The Member Secretary of the GRC reviews the validity of the complaint within 3 working days.
  3. Hearing Phase: If required, the committee invites the concerned parties for a personal hearing to ensure "Natural Justice."
  4. Final Decision: The committee provides a written resolution and recommendation to the Head of the Institution within 15 working days.
